Deep Dive Discovery Camp 2025
Looking to encounter a week-long STEM-filled adventure? Join us for our brand new Deep Dive Discovery Camp! Campers 12-18 years old will spend a week with our education staff and experience an introduction to working as biologists and practicing research. Each day, they will learn about unique animal adaptations, conservation initiatives, aquarium animal care, and scientific research! Lastly, your camper will assemble their own research poster exhibiting a topic of their choice and can present it at their own end-of-camp symposium; all OKAQ staff and family are invited to join!
Your camper will experience:
Extensive behind-the-scenes tours
Intensive introduction to scientific research
Before-hours all access to the OKAQ
This is a full day, week-long, fee-based summer program geared toward students in grades 7-12.

Earning Criteria
Optional
Campers' participation in the self-guided activities provided for them.
Campers will show off their new-found knowledge during the End-of-camp Science Symposium. Each camper can pick a topic to research and display during this event. Campers will be evaluated through the participation of their posters and the ability to converse with peers about their findings.
