Jr. Engineers
Students will engage in hands-on building designed to explore the fascinating world of engineering. After investigating aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems in our aquaponics lab, we will follow Applied Design Thinking and work with 3D-printed prototypes. Students will also get to explore the woods of Mohawk Park and build shelters in teams with limited and improvised supplies. Newtonian principles will come to life as well through prototyping and building our own catapults.
This is a half-day, free summer program geared toward students in grades 3-5.
